Usually, the first symptom a person with scabies experiences is an itchy rash. Repeated scratching of infected people can lead to infection, which can worsen scabies. Those who experience sudden, uncontrollable itching are advised to see a doctor for a prescription of an anti-parasitic cream containing permethrin. Often the doctor will also recommend antihistamines for itching.<\/p>\n
Itching is usually the first symptom experienced by those who get scabies, and those who do have it should be aware that it could be something worse than normal itching.
