The test image:
The central crop:
↑ Nikon D850 + Nikon 28mm f/1.4 E.
Honey is looking sharp!
LOL, Honey is famous.
Nice colours… Nikon 850?
The colours are impressive, considering this is a straight-of-camera JPG that I haven’t altered in any way.
In answer to your question, it’s “Undisclosed Camera #2” 😉
I hate waiting, go on tell me!
The lens? It’s “Undisclosed Lens #9”.
GFX50s – 63mm or one of your Mamiya’s
Or maybe a Sony RX100 Mark V.
🙂 quite possibly. I have no idea but as they say you’ve got to be in it to win it!
LOL Andrew. That’s what I appreciate about you, no pretenses. You are truly a gentleman.
I guess it is digital and a very good Nikon, can be a D 850 and perhaps a 85 1.4 and Honey is cute as always! 🙂
Good guess, but maybe bad guess too.
Honey is often confused by my gear… more than I am.
Honey aced the test.
She studies hard.
Colors and highlights look M10-like, though the consensus seems D850. I vote for M10.
Thank you for offering your guess too Ashwin.
I already contra-guessed (Leica SL). I don’t think you are moving towards a DSLR, either, which would be a step back from the M. You already have a sports camera and lens to complement the M, anyway. And it’s not the GFX, or the S.
I’m going to take a very wild guess that it’s the X1D. It’s more compact than a DSLR (even with a lens) and it’s going to give image quality that can’t be rivalled by any other hand held camera.
At the end of the day it’s not possible for me to have a decent guess with the image samples provided. But it’s sure fun to try. 😉
