I like the photo (subject, composition, moment, etc.) – just not the framing. For some reason the empty space at the right does not do it for me. It was obviously deliberate, so I have to take your word for it that you felt it was the right thing to do. 🙂
Oh yes, I did it on purpose. Thank you for at least realizing that that might be the case.
What do you think about the pose of the first two players? As if it were planned, no?
That was not my impression. But I’ve seen countless photos where two or more elements were in harmony. E.g. HCB’s photo of the man leaping a puddle. Or, more recently, Thorsten Overgaard’s photo called ‘Shadowlands’. I’ve taken a few like that myself, and only noticed the parallels while editing.
One thing I love about photography is its serendipitous nature. Photography Proper is about finding, not making.
