Merci, mon ami.
Peter, i find it hard to see how you could improve on these colors –even the skin is beautiful and natural-looking. Portra is, of course, superb for this, but this is so elegant. Did i misunderstand or do you still have the m-e and leica lenses (presumably, from your data)?
Yeah Henry, I know. The M9(P)/M-E is the closest thing to Portra (to answer your question, I currently have a new-old M9P, and new-old Leica 50/1.4 ASPH).
Stunningly bluetiful and perfectly, masterfully finished.
Thank you K.
Stunningly beautiful! May be a dumb question, but what does the LHSA mean?
Oooohh, you don’t want to go there Steve. Trust me.
Peter, do you always have to tempt fate? Whatelse do you need? Look at this! You get it quick and safe, lovely and perfect! So stay with this gear until the brass comes shining through and tells you what only “old love ” can tell!
Yes, Andreas, I know, I know. Hopefully I’ve learned my lesson – finally.
I note the legend of all 50mm’s is back in your hands. How could you resist (as much as you do love the Nokton)!!
Now I might be kidding myself here, but do I see a sustained long term view on holding this M9 and lux. I think I do and I hope I’m right! But as we all know with you….just never know whats around the corner ;-)….
Regarding the M9(P)… I suspect you are correct.
I just can’t shake the CCD sensor… God have mercy on my soul.
Peter, how much effort do you put in post-processing? I find with a fair amount, I’ve been pleased with several images, but then I wonder if it should be so difficult.
